Conditions of Use
Welcome to AOMA. We provide services to you subject to the following conditions. If you visit or shop at AOMA Herbal Medicine, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully. In addition, when you use any current or future AOMA service or visit or purchase from any business affiliated with us, whether or not included in the AOMA web site, you also will be subject to the guidelines and conditions applicable to such service or business.
CLASS CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICIES
Community Class Cancellation & Refund Policy:
All cancellations must be received in writing by email (email@example.com). Cancellations accepted up to one week prior to first class of series. A $15 fee will be charged for cancellations. No refunds will be given for missed classes, although make-ups may be made in a similar class, subject to space availability. AOMA is unable to transfer course fees paid for one seminar or course to any other seminar or course.
Continuing Education Class Cancellation & Refund Policy:
• All cancellations must be received in writing by letter, fax, or email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
• Cancellations made at least 21 calendar days prior to the first class day will receive a full refund less a $50.00 administration fee.
• Cancellations made 20-14 calendar days prior to the first class day will receive a 50% refund.
• Cancellations made 13-5 calendar days prior to the first class day will receive a 25% refund.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 5 calendar days prior to the first class day.
• AOMA is unable to transfer course fees paid for one seminar or course to any other seminar or course.
• In the unlikely event that AOMA has to cancel a course due to insufficient enrollment, or for some other unforeseen reason, registrants will receive a full refund.
RETURN POLICY You may return most items sold by AOMA Herbal Medicine within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping cost if the return is a result of our error. Please note that we are unable to exchange items (however, if you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, click here). We cannot accept returns of certain items, including: * Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery. * Any CD, DVD, VHS tape, book, software, or cassette tape, that has been opened (taken out of its plastic wrap). * Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts. Returning a gift? If the item you're returning was not designated as a gift when purchased or if it was not shipped directly to you from AOMA, please note that the refund will be issued to the gift giver.
DISPUTES Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to AOMA or to products you purchase through AOMA Herbal Medicine shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Austin, Texas, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate AOMA's intellectual property rights, AOMA may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of Texas, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
SITE POLICIES, MODIFICATION, AND SEVERABILITY Please review our other policies posted on this site. These policies also govern your visit to AOMA. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Conditions of Use at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
